Key Responsibilities:
· Test planning and Test Design (Creation of Test scenarios/Test Cases)
· Preparation of Test environment
· Execution of Test cases
· Identification, reporting and tracking of defects
· Enhance code coverage testing
Qualifications
Required Experience/Skills & Education:
· Should have at least 1-4 years of experience in software testing domain
· Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science
· Expertise in Black box testing techniques & methodologies
· Knowledge in Automation – QTP/PERL/C#
· Strong in OS/Windows Concepts like File systems, Services & Processes, Registry and hands-on experience in partitioning, OS installation, and Imaging/VMware.
· Expertise in analysis and troubleshooting
· Exposure to network fundamentals
· Very good analytical, testing & technical skills
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Proactive, positive work attitude
· Strong customer focus
· Knowledge in non-functional testing (performance, security, reliability etc)
· Unix/Linux knowledge will be an added advantage.
Preferred:
· Minimum of 1 year of development experience in C, C++, C#
· Experience in Whitebox testing techniques and exposure to cppUnit
